Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) can support people in effectively coping with intense emotions that often come with navigating the ever-changing demands of family life. This DBT group will be 8 weeks in length, each week will focus on a specific skill that will support participants in tolerating intense emotions, developing effective relaxation strategies, and learning communication skills that may help improve relationships.

Our DBT skills group has been designed to support birthing people, those in the postpartum period and beyond, as well as their support systems. DBT focuses on improving one's overall quality of life, including relationships, and our ability to manage everyday stressors.

Group members will practice one DBT skill per week. Support and feedback will be provided each week as it relates to the learned skill and its usefulness.
