Claudia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 97284) and is a strength-based and holistic practitioner who strives to support each individual in finding their path towards resiliency. She is passionate about helping families find and create little moments of joy. Her passion for early childhood and perinatal mental health lead to a postgraduate fellowship in infant-parent mental health. Claudia is an advocate for connecting people to resources and nurturing a person’s connection to their village.
Claudia is a bilingual (Spanish) and offers individual and conjoint family therapy psychotherapy in San Diego for a wide range of issues. Among them: anxiety, depression, adjustment, grief and loss, trauma, women's issues and maternal mental health.
She earned a postgraduate fellowship specializing in Infant-Parent Mental Health and integrates the infant-parent mental health lens in treatment. Claudia’s special interest is to support caregivers who have experienced trauma, NICU parents, LGBTQ and military families.

Her Passions
Claudia is a wife and mommy. She loves seeing the world through the eyes of her children and enjoys connecting with others. She describes herself as a lifelong student as she loves learning and wishes she could constantly sign up for trainings. Claudia is passionate about advocating for maternal mental health and accessible mental health services. Claudia identifies as neurodivergent Latina.
Claudia served as member of a board of directors to a local nonprofit organization that served the San Diego perinatal community. Her prior work experienced encompasses providing individual, family and group therapy in a not for profit outpatient clinic and school based setting.
